As we all navigate Coronavirus (COVID-19), the JRM & Associates team is dedicated to continuing to provide high quality appraisal services for our clients. We are continuing to accept and schedule appraisal appointments during this time, but we are taking additional safety procedures and precautions in accordance with CDC guidelines to protect the health of our team and homeowners. The following is a list of what to expect during our property observations.:
- A typical exterior and interior observation takes 30 minutes or less and when we are on-site we will need to view all rooms and take interior photos. We will make all efforts to not touch any interior surfaces and we ask that you have lights turned on and doors opened.
- The day of your appraisal appointment our team members will take their temperature and will not proceed with the appointment if they have a temperature or any other "flu like" symptoms in accordance with CDC guidelines. We ask that if anyone in the home is ill or has been ill, that you contact our office at (515) 337-8739 to reschedule.
- We do have latex gloves, shoe covers and masks available to our team members and can wear them upon request or at their discretion. We will avoid any personal contact such as handshakes.
- In order to limit person to person contact for the safety of our staff and homeowners, we are asking that no one be present in the home during the appraisal. The appraiser will discuss this further with you during scheduling.
The health and safety of our appraisers, clients and homeowners is of the utmost importance to us and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us or your lender. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
